A diamond ring is...

Meant to symbolize your love in a visible, tangible way. A constant reminder that your heart is committed to one person only for the rest of your life. I honestly don't believe it matters what kind of ring or piece of jewelry you choose, as long as it has meaning behind it. Here's an image I took of one of my favorite style of wedding rings - round old miner's cut diamond with an Art Deco basket setting and delicate pave diamonds on the side. Love how it  produces more of a glow than its modern counterpart, the brilliant cut.

WILL & SANDY PORTRAITS | LOS ANGELES PHOTOGRAPHER

As I promised in my last post, photos of this pretty portrait session are now here! It was such a wacky day of weather with the sun fading in and out of the clouds. We could also see an impending storm drifting toward us in the distance. Even though I'm now spoiled by always perfect SoCal weather, I'll never forget growing up in the land of four seasons (north carolina) where hurricanes never stopped anyone from driving to the grocery store, or going out to walk their dog. So, when the rain was fast approaching and possibly about to ruin our photo session, I did not panic. I simply made sure we maximized our time while the weather was still great, albeit overcast and temperamental. In fact, our photos turned out rather beautifully thanks to a beautiful couple and an amazing sky. We were so blessed that the rain came much later! It was a perfect day photographing the rare cherry blossoms in the San Fernando Valley.

Portrait Session on the Hill | Los Angeles Wedding Photographer

We get some of the most beautiful weather here in Sunny Southern California. And sometimes in one single day, we can get up to three varieties: sunny, cloudy, and stormy. This portrait session was one of those days in which we got ALL THREE weather conditions which excited me because where else can a photographer get that kind of lighting in one single day? Here is a sneak peak of one of my favorite images on top of a hill in Los Angeles. I really promise more to come soon...

California Coastal | Malibu Wedding Photographer

Gorgeous wedding inspiration on the coast of Southern California. I love photographing the Malibu sunset and waves crashing against the rocky shore. Here's just a sneak peak with some of my favorite vendors. The Thalia wedding gown by Alexandra Grecco is in the color of "dove gray".  It matches the sea perfectly... more to come soon, so stay tuned!

It was a refreshing rainy day shoot with gorgeous Parisian wedding gowns from Elise Hameau! I love her gowns and the bohemian style with a bit of classic lace to make it ultra feminine.

This was photographed in the heart of Pasadena, my favorite city in Los Angeles.

Milieu Florals provided the amazing bouquet and flower crown; Theresa Huang's artists produced beautiful hair and makeup; Veiled Beauty provided exquisite hairpieces and veils. There's so much more to come so stay tuned my friends...
